In the seventh episode of the Type 2.0 video series, Dr. Anne Peters—Director of the USC Clinical Diabetes Program and Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine at USC—discusses the importance of more deeply understanding patients’ lifestyles and preferences in helping to select the best therapy for them. She also discusses guideline recommendations that patients with type 2 diabetes who are on intensive insulin therapy should have access to continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII, or insulin pump) therapy as well.
